My Past Experience of Job Application and Selection is Good Looking!
My Past Experience of Job Application and Selection is Good Looking!Employers are increasingly going in for online paper screening tests that have a strong element of 'fun' into them. In essence, an online test is a type of mock interview - and while that might seem a little strange, it is actually very common practice. Even if you're only allowed to discuss your previous experience of job application and selection on a light-hearted note, it is still likely to create the desired impression. You will be excited to be asked to take an online paper examination. It's an opportunity to show you've got that career touch. However, it can also be a cause for concern because, to be frank, if you have any sort of past experience of the workplace it will come across as childish and unprofessional.Employers often expect candidates to be self-disciplined, but some are more critical than others. Employers also expect candidates to demonstrate keen intelligence and problem-solving skills. In order to provide a proper snapshot of your experience, you will need to remember your role.My past experience of job application and selection can easily be brought up with a question about your role within your team. It's perfectly acceptable to talk about your work experiences, but you should never give details about past employers. Your words should be neutral - and certainly, don't recommend yourself or another candidate to a potential employer. If possible, list all your past experience in a chapter or two of your resume. List each position and detail how long you worked in each of them. You will need to give an answer to a question during your job application and selection interview. You should not say anything negative about your previous employers, but you should also not mention how well you did your job for those employers. Some employers take a dim view of candidates who speak negatively about their past experiences - but it's something they can't change. While many job applicants find it helpful to list past employment in an after action report section of their job application, you should avoid using this format of resume when applying for jobs in the future. You'll be surprised to find that it will limit your chances of getting the job.My past experience of job application and selection is something I enjoyed doing and I'm very proud of. I hope you agree.
